Jollibee, Mang Inasal, and Chowking secured the top three spots in Brand Finance Philippines 50 2026 rankings.

Jollibee Group’s three flagship brands—Jollibee, Mang Inasal, and Chowking—led the Philippines’ restaurant sector in the Brand Finance Philippines 50 2026 rankings, claiming the top three spots by brand value. The evaluation assessed consumer demand, pricing strength, resilience, and long-term business value, according to the report. This marks the third straight year Jollibee has held the second slot among all Philippine brands, restaurant and non-restaurant combined.

The entire Philippine restaurant industry achieved a total brand value of $4.1 billion in 2026, reflecting a 29% year-on-year increase. Jollibee alone contributed 80% of that total, with a Brand Strength Index score of 87.9 out of 100. The brand’s dominance extends beyond local markets, as it became the sole Southeast Asian representative in Brand Finance’s global Restaurants 25 2026, securing fifth place worldwide. Its global success stems from consistent customer demand, same-store sales growth, and aggressive expansion—particularly in the US and Vietnam, where it reached its 200th store in 2026.

Mang Inasal saw significant progress, rising from seventh to second place in brand strength. Its Brand Strength Index climbed to 95.2, up from 87.8, earning an AAA+ rating. The brand’s value grew 28% to $482 million, and it was added to Brand Finance’s “Brands to Watch” list for 2026. Meanwhile, Chowking advanced to No. 31 among the country’s most valuable brands.

Jollibee Foods Corporation manages 20 brands across 10,400+ stores and cafés in 33 countries, including Tim Ho Wan, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and Smashburger. CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong observed that the company’s $3.3 billion brand value now surpasses its market capitalization, indicating strong potential for future shareholder returns. This financial outperformance highlights the group’s ability to convert brand equity into tangible business growth.

The three brands’ success reflects their deep cultural roots. Jollibee’s Chickenjoy remains a household staple, while Mang Inasal’s grilled specialties and Chowking’s fast-casual model appeal to evolving consumer preferences. Their adaptability, through digital ordering systems, menu innovations, and international expansion, has helped them maintain leadership in a crowded market. Even during economic downturns, these brands have demonstrated resilience, further cementing their positions.
