Oishi Manufacturing and Nestlé Professional have teamed up to launch a new dessert range for the Singapore foodservice market. The partnership brings the brands MILO®, KITKAT®, and SJORA® into foodservice-ready products, designed for hotels, restaurants, and quick-service chains.
The first phase of the range launched on 15 July. It is sold under Oishi’s ArtisertZ brand, which combines Nestlé’s consumer brands with Oishi’s research and development, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution capabilities. The initial lineup includes the ArtisertZ Chocolate Lava Cake Made with MILO® and ArtisertZ Chocolate Lava Cake Made with KITKAT®. Buyers can also access single- or double-tank soft serve machines on a free-on-loan basis, subject to minimum monthly purchase commitments.
Taimur Ahmed, Business Manager at Nestlé Professional Singapore, said the collaboration helps operators create differentiated menu offerings while maintaining operational excellence. “Consumers are increasingly looking for brands and flavours they know and trust, whilst operators need solutions that can be delivered efficiently and consistently,” Ahmed said.
Focus on volume production
Erik van Keulen, co-owner of Oishi Manufacturing Pte Ltd, noted that for larger operators, a product must be feasible at volume. “For larger operators, it is not enough for something to taste good in a sample. It has to be feasible at volume, stable across batches, easy for frontline teams to prepare, and reliable enough to support commercial demand,” van Keulen said.
Manufacturing capacity for the ArtisertZ line is extensive. The production lines are set up to handle large-scale output without compromising on quality or safety standards. This setup allows the partners to meet the needs of major food chains that require consistent supply.
The initiative targets specific segments within the food industry. Operators in the hotel and restaurant sectors often face challenges with supply chain reliability. Oishi and Nestlé aim to provide a stable source of premium dessert options that integrate well with existing kitchen workflows.
The portfolio extends beyond the initial chocolate lava cakes to include ArtisertZ Wholegrain Choco Muffin Made with MILO® (HCS) and soft serve premixes. These additions allow for greater menu versatility, catering to diverse consumer tastes while adhering to strict production standards. The introduction of these items addresses the growing demand from operators for products that balance menu innovation with operational consistency, particularly as businesses manage labour shortages, rising costs, and changing consumer preferences.
Oishi has always believed that strong product ideas need strong execution to succeed. The collaboration also highlights the company’s expanding role as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner, developing foodservice products that can be produced reliably and at scale. This strategic focus on execution ensures that the products are not only appealing but also practical for daily operations, with potential expansion into other regional markets in the future.
