KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — When Taylor Swift isn’t selling out stadiums for “The Eras Tour” or at Kansas City Chiefs games supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, she’s baking goodies.
Swift showed off her baking skills by making the Chiefs offensive linemen “homemade Pop-Tarts,” head coach Andy Reid revealed at the NFL Combine.
“He likes to cook, so he made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop-Tarts,” Reid said. “He didn’t give me one, and the offensive linemen definitely didn’t give me one.”
Reid didn’t say when he made the baked goods for the team.
Pop-Tarts has since caught wind of the Swift-made treat and is hoping the pop star will share her recipe.
“…We heard there’s a Pop-Tarts pastry (Your Version),” the company said in an Instagram post, playing off of Swift’s recorded songs and albums, all labeled “Taylor’s Version.” The image itself mimicked Swift’s iconic Eras Tour graphic for an extra Swiftie shimmer.

UNDATED (WKRC) – Pop-Tarts asked Taylor Swift to unveil her homemade recipe in a post to social media Friday.
The company took to Instagram, posting an image that was reminiscent of the imagery found on an “Eras Tour” poster. In the image, Pop-Tarts called on Swift to “release the recipe.”
“To KC’s most famous fan, we heard there’s a Pop-Tarts pastry (Your Version) and in its honor, we’re donating to @harvesters, a local Feeding America food bank partner, But if you #releasetherecipe, we’ll double our donation,” Pop-tarts wrote.
According to PEOPLEKansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid recently appeared on an episode of NFL by NBC, saying Swift surprised the team with her own homemade Pop-Tarts.
“He likes to cook, so he made the offensive linemen homemade Pop-Tarts,” Reid said, according to the publication.
Swifties quickly took to the comments of the Pop-Tarts post, in hopes that the popstar would release the recipe, per PEOPLE. Harvesters also left a comment on the post.
“We can’t thank you enough! We all want to know her recipe too” the food bank wrote.

It’s the sweet side of jalapenos that you probably don’t know about. You can use this recipe with your favorite soft cheese and crackers, a drink garnish for a Bloody Mary or margarita or a sandwich topper. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 4 cups packed light brown sugar
- 2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard seeds
- 1 Tbsp. granulated garlic
- 1/4 tsp. Celery seeds
- 1 1/2 lbs. jalapeño chiles (about 25 to 30), stems removed, unseeded, and sliced crosswise 1/4-in. thick (wear protective gloves and be careful not to touch your face)
Instructions
Make syrup:
- In a large saucepan, bring sugar, vinegar, mustard seeds, garlic, and celery seeds to a boil over high heat. (make sure the pan is large)
- Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Watch the saucepan as ingredients may boil over.
- Add jalapeños, and bring to a simmer over medium-high.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until jalapeños darken and shrivel, 4 to 6 minutes.
Add to jars:
- Transfer jalapeños to a clean 1-quart canning jar or 2 (1-pint) canning jars using a slotted spoon;
